Tableware for the contemporary table.

Stoneworks Ceramics Studio was founded on a profound passion for pottery and ceramics. Our potter, Yoke Ting, has spent years both domestically and abroad testing, experimenting, and studying numerous clay bodies & glazes to gain an in-depth understanding of their textures and properties.

Yoke Ting earned a diploma in visual arts from a local college and furthered her education abroad in Taiwan, specializing in fine arts with a major in ceramics. Although she initially disliked working with clay due to the dirt and mess, her internship at a local pottery studio reignited her passion. Through her experience, she discovered the fascinating aspects of clay, such as the techniques involved in throwing and hand-building and the different firing temperatures required for each design.

Upon returning from Taiwan, she founded Stoneworks Ceramics Studio, bringing her passion, ideas, and experience with her. Her goal is to revitalize her experiences through the work of her hands.

Here at Stoneworks Ceramics Studio, we believe that working with clay is all about patience and taking the time to understand clay in its capacity and depth. The interaction between clay and our work represents our passion and the beauty of clay is that we can recycle it until we achieve an aesthetic product for you. This potential for a second life fascinates us and motivates us to give you the best ceramic for your household.

Our ethos is simple: Do more with less.

We give you the aesthetics in our ceramics.

Sincerely,

Yoke Ting
